\nWMSCI’s acceptance policy is far more liberal than that of most major computer science conferences, and it has been criticized by some academics who feel its quality threshold for acceptance is too low and its stated mission (“a forum for focusing into specific disciplinary research, as well as for multi, inter and trans-disciplinary studies and projects”, according to the 2005 WMSCI website) too opaque. WMSCI has also been accused of using spam to advertise its conferences.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
